The short version of what Apex is, what it is not, and what we ask of you.
Apex gives fitness and nutrition estimates. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for a doctor or a dietitian. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or take medication, speak to a professional before following anything the app suggests.
You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the app. If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian before following a training or nutrition plan.
Your calorie and macro targets are worked out with the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, adjusted for activity, goal and training. That equation is a reasonable starting point for most people, but it is an estimate. Your real energy expenditure depends on things it cannot measure, so your true maintenance calories may sit above or below the number shown.
Treat the numbers as a starting point and adjust from your own results over a few weeks. The calculators, the workout plans and the coaching replies are generated from the data you enter, and they can be wrong. Logging your weight and intake for a few weeks is the most reliable way to correct the estimate for your own body.
You train and eat at your own risk. Stop and seek advice if you feel unwell, dizzy, in pain or unusually fatigued. Nothing in the app is a guarantee of a result, and no specific outcome is promised.
Apex may change which features are free and which are part of Pro, and prices may change. No payment is currently taken through the app, so nothing is charged today.
The app's content, text, design and branding belong to Apex. Please do not copy or redistribute them as your own.
We may update these terms as the app changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies, so check back before relying on a detail here.
